Updated Dec 15, 2025

View customer data from HubSpot CRM directly in your inbox.

What the HubSpot Integration Does

  • View HubSpot contact data in the inbox sidebar
  • See associated deals and recent activity
  • Create notes on HubSpot contacts from conversations
  • View email engagement metrics (opens and clicks)

Setting Up HubSpot

  • Select Integrations
  • Select the brand you want to connect HubSpot to (each brand can have its own HubSpot account)
  • Find HubSpot in the Apps section

  • Go to Integrations > Private Apps (or Integrations > Legacy Apps in newer accounts)
  • Click Create a private app (or Create legacy app > Private)
  • Name it (e.g., "Helplane Integration")
  • Go to the Scopes tab and enable:
  • crm.objects.contacts.read
  • crm.objects.contacts.write
  • crm.objects.deals.read
  • Click Create app
  • Copy the access token

Note: You must be a Super Admin in HubSpot to create private apps.
