Keep track of important information about your customers.
What are Contact Notes?
Notes let you record important details about contacts that help your team provide better support:
- Previous issues and resolutions
- Customer preferences
- Account details
- Important conversations
Adding a Note
- Open a contact's profile
- Scroll to the Notes section
- Type your note in the editor
- Optionally attach files
- Click Add Note
Note Features
Rich text formatting: Use bold, italic, lists, and more.
File attachments: Attach documents, screenshots, or other files to notes.
Author tracking: Each note shows who created it and when.
Viewing Notes
Notes appear in chronological order with the newest first. Each note shows:
- Author name and avatar
- Creation timestamp
- Note content
- Attached files with download links
Deleting Notes
Hover over a note and click the delete button. Confirm deletion when prompted.
Best Practices
- Keep notes concise and relevant
- Include context for future reference
- Attach relevant screenshots or documents
- Update notes when situations change
