Using AI Summary
Get a quick overview of long conversations with AI-generated summaries.
What is AI Summary?
AI Summary reads through the entire conversation and generates a concise summary. This helps when:
- Taking over a conversation from another agent
- Reviewing a long conversation thread
- Understanding the issue before responding
- Catching up after being away
How to Use AI Summary
- Open any conversation with messages
- In the message composer, click the sparkles icon
- Select AI Summary from the dropdown
- A dialog opens showing the AI-generated summary
- Read the summary and close the dialog
- Continue with the conversation
What's Included in Summaries
The AI summary typically covers:
- The main issue or request
- Key points discussed
- Any actions taken or promised
- Current status of the conversation
AI Credits
Each AI Summary uses one AI credit from your team's balance.
When to Use Summaries
Handoffs: When taking over a conversation, get up to speed quickly without reading every message.
Long threads: For conversations with many messages, understand the full context in seconds.
Quality review: Managers can quickly understand conversation content during reviews.
Availability
AI Summary is available on all plans. Credits are consumed per use.
